ECSA-HC Automation Cloud is the integrated enterprise cloud platform of the East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC), an inter-governmental health organisation founded in 1974. The platform consolidates every internal ECSA-HC process — finance, human resources, payroll, procurement, projects, inventory, fixed assets, memos, electronic signatures, document collaboration, timesheets and performance reporting — into a single secure environment engineered and operated in-house.
In addition to internal automation, the platform also hosts regional tooling that ECSA-HC operates on behalf of partner institutions, including SLIPTA (continental laboratory quality assessment), the HEPRR Multi-Phase Approach reporting platform for the World Bank, health platforms for Uganda and Rwanda, regional reporting, and the Zambia Points of Entry digital surveillance platform.
Established 1974. Mandate: promote and encourage efficiency and relevance in the provision of health services. Vision: leader in health in East, Central and Southern Africa. Mission: highest standards of health through advocacy, capacity building, brokerage, coordination, inter-sectoral collaboration and harmonization of health policies and programmes.
